Our Method
About Us
The only paint in the world capable of restoring the original color of vintage cars.
Restauto, a center specialized in the restoration of vintage cars and motorcycles, was founded from the passion of Cuoghi Costantini William, who was responsible for painting at Scaglietti in the 1960s and 70s. This passion was passed down to his son and is strongly shared by his collaborators. The restoration of a car is a complex process that requires a high level of specialization: our team consists of craftsmen with over 40 years of experience who, in addition to restoring cars and motorcycles, share their knowledge with clients and train future restorers.
In fact, Restauto is a partner of the "Vintage Car Bodywork Restorer Technician" course in collaboration with the Department of Vehicle Engineering Enzo Ferrari UNIMORE.
Here, you will not only find what you need but also an environment where you can exchange opinions and share experiences.
The thorough study of each individual step, combined with constant cooperation with suppliers, has allowed us to approach the restoration process scientifically; from sheet metal protection, through color research, to polishing, creating a certified cycle that ensures the quality of the work done.
After years of studies and tests, in collaboration with Lechler and Mauro Barbieri, we have recreated the only certified acrylic thermoplastic enamel painting cycle in the world, capable of faithfully reproducing the original finish of vintage cars and motorcycles.
